My name is Maira Quintanilha; I’m the founder and owner of Quali Q Inc. 👋 I help academics, researchers and clinicians to design, conduct and write impactful qualitative research projects. I completed a Masters (2011) and PhD (2020) at the University of Alberta in Canada. During my PhD, I had the honor and privilege of being supervised by a well-known qualitative researcher and book author, and over the past 11 years I’ve participated in (and published) multiple qualitative research projects.
My role as a consultant and mentor outside of academia started in 2019. At that time, my baby daughter was fighting cancer, and being her mother and caregiver changed everything for me. Quali Q Inc. started as a dream and unconventional path when I was trying to find meaning and a career that could co-exist with my family needs.
Fast forward to today; I now have the privilege of working with qualitative researchers from all over the world to help them move their projects along with ethics and confidence!
